I make pancakes waaay too often and now you’ve given me a reason to make more! Espresso and dark chocolate is one of the best combinations out there. I love the pairing with raspberry coulis. During this crappy recession, extravagance for me = simple, delicious, and gorgeous food just like this.

ps: Your blog is beautiful :)

i don’t believe i’ve ever seen anything described as ‘divinely haunting’–i’m most definitely intrigued!
meanwhile, i don’t think about clothes or jewelry or vacations when thinking about extravagant things. i think about food. the end. :)

Maria – Great thinking (it’s perfect for an unusual dessert)!

Foodie Friend – I’m glad I posted on International Pancake Day too, but firmly believe there’s never a wrong time to celebrate pancakes :)

Erika – Thank you for the compliment :) and I fully agree: Creating gorgeous, sophisticated food at home is extravagance enough at times.

All About Food – Thank you!

Grace – Divinely haunting=the flavors of the chocolate espresso pancakes & fresh raspberry coulis melding in your mouth. I can’t imagine the two apart.

Gala – Thank you, and thanks for dropping by!
