Jeff - Thanks for visiting, and you're welcome!

Cathy - Ooo, I never thought about a melba until you mentioned it... spot on!

Grace - My excuse is that I'm still shopping for a sturdy, ice-crushing blender. Mine broke back on Cinco de Mayo while trying to blend frozen margaritas. When I finally replace it, these are first on the list.

Mike - Ours, I believe, is a common aversion, but this recipe is a definite winner.

Kristen - Peaches... don't forget about the peaches (I have a counter full of them as I write).

You know, when I think of smoothies I always think of berries.. strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. I never have thought about doing peach in a smoothie! I can't wait to give this recipe a try!

I thought I was the only one with an aversion to smoothies...not that there's anything wrong with smoothies....its just so many smoothies are done wrong and have a funny texture (too thick, not smooth enough, too watery, like a ground up sno cone, etc) or an off taste. This sounds like it would taste great and an endorsement for the texture certainly appeals to me!

i don't consume enough smoothies. they're so refreshing and healthy and easy, so there's really no excuse for my behavior. :)
